MAINE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Documentary wedding and family photographer based in Maine

Hi, I’m Sienna — a local Maine photographer who finds beauty in the parts of your story that make life real. I believe photography keeps a record of the people and places that make up our days.

I document so that you can look back and remember all the damn cool parts of life, and the ordinary moments that might not feel so ordinary anymore.

Meet Sienna

“We’re usually pretty awkward in photos, but she made us feel relaxed and comfortable, which made such a difference.”

On the day, she blended right in and captured everything in a natural, documentary style. The photos bring us right back to those moments, and we’re so grateful to have them!

A closer look at the experiences in Maine

“From the beginning, she was so attentive and reassuring - she asked questions about our story, our guests, what our goals were.”

My husband and I were looking for a documentary style photographer to capture our wedding in Maine and were delighted to find Sienna. During the weekend of our wedding, she was a calming yet fun presence and really put at ease my general dislike of being photographed. We loved our results and can't recommend Sienna enough for any of your special moments to be captured.

FAQ

  • Most of my couples and clients feel this way! Because I approach the majority of a wedding day with a documentary eye, there’s no pressure to perform or do anything for the camera.

When it comes to more formal portraits, I encourage you to be in the moment with your person/people. Less about posing, and more about being present in that very moment.

  • Yes, of course! It can feel overwhelming, I know. I’m here to bounce ideas off of from the very beginning.

Our very first call will be all about getting to know you and what is most important to you. I am your advocate to keep what’s most important to you at the forefront, no matter what!

  • Yes! There are those formal portraits that can be SO important, too. While they are a bit less in the moment, I still capture these with a genuine approach.

I encourage you and your loved ones to remember the reason you’re in that very spot, rather than being there solely to look at a camera and smile.
